Plan Moncure Project
The following graphic illustrates the scope of the Plan Moncure small area process, which is anticipated to be completed around August 2023. Below this graphic are representations of the Study Area and Focus Area for the project.
Based on initial assessments and input during Phase One, a broad study area for Plan Moncure was established, within which key market study, transportation, and land uses analyses would be conducted.
In addition, Plan Moncure will include development of two alternative development scenarios within a smaller area of southeastern Chatham County, focused on the lands around US 1 and the Triangle Innovation Point sites. Both of these areas area shown on the map below.
